Phew, has it been a busy month in the Knotts Clan! Just after we cleared up Benjamin's bronchitis, Autumn came down with the same cold and then got an ear infection. Bleh!

Still, we were able to get everyone healthy again and were able to attend a field trip to the GA Aquarium. What a great time!! Not only did we get a chance to go behind the scenes and take a look at the penguin exhibit, but we also had plenty of time to see all the exhibits. Autumn particularly enjoyed watching the sea otters, while Genevieve preferred the beluga whales. Benjamin was just happy that he got to toddle around on his own from one exhibit to the next! Of course, **everyone** loved visiting the gift shop!!

Once we finished up at the aquarium we headed over to our hotel room where we had another surprise for the girls. While they relaxed and watched their favorite TV shows, we ordered in pizza and Ken went and bought 7 different 2L of soda and some microwave popcorn. The rest of night, the girls literally bounced off the walls of the room while they sampled unlimited soda and stayed up as late as they wanted to. Oh yeah...we rock!!

The next day was a little cooler than we anticipated, but we headed out to the Atlanta Zoo anyways. We had a great time watching the pandas (woo hoo!! We finally got to see them!!), naked mole rats, reptiles, and gorillas. The girls finally got too cold, and we headed out. We made a quick trip past the meerkats and the river otters. It was there that we discovered that Genevieve has an interesting gift... Apparently, our daughter is a Otter Whisperer! The otters had been hiding in the enclosure (no doubt due to the cold weather!) when Genevieve began making a high pitch barking noise. After a couple of seconds, the whole family came barreling out and squeaking in return. It was so amazing, that I had to get some footage! Just how Genevieve will use her gift in the future remains to be seen, but I'm sure she'll figure something out!

Now onto more recent news...
Last night Genevieve was tested and earned her yellow belt! She did very well (two of the three other children unfortunately did not pass) and is very excited. It's been really fun to watch her progress these past few months, and I hope she sticks with it and goes all the way for her black belt! I'm posting up the footage of the test so that all of you can enjoy as well. :)
